The Historical Society is pleased to co-sponsor the upcoming program with the Federal Bar AssociationThe GENDER GAP Plays on Achieving Parity for Women and Girls in Sports Using Title IX and other tools.

This engaging panel, moderated by the Hon. Sallie Kim, features leading advocates for women’s equity, Elizabeth Kristen, Director Gender Equity & LGBTQ Rights Program,  Legal Aid at Work, Jeanifer Parsigian, Partner, Winston & Strawn LLP (legal team for the Women’s National Soccer Team) and Kim Turner, JD, Advisory Council Bay Area Women’s Sports Initiative (BAWSI) who will address continuing challenges, developments and advancement of women in sport and successes with Title IX, litigation and social action.

1 hour of California MCLE credit will be offered for Elimination of Bias. The panel will be followed by a reception.
